Correspondence to Alma Mahler, 1944-1961.

The earliest letter (1944) responds to an attempt by Alma to obtain an increase in royalties from the ASCAP for Arnold SchoĢˆnberg. Subsequent correspondence (1945 to 1957) concerns Alma Mahler's membership in the ASCAP, as the widow of Gustav Mahler, including a television performing rights agreement. Also included is a handwritten draft in German of a communication addressed to the society's membership, dated 1961, by an unknown author.
